USA Handyman & Contractor has been serving our Richmond, Virginia customers since 2006. Owner Musa Dokic started the company as a general contractor working on apartment buildings. After branching out, USA Handyman became a trusted installer of Lowe’s Home Improvement. While still working closely with Lowe’s, USA Handyman has established their own residential and commercial customer base to focus on building the business. In May of 2020, Musa brought on Operation Manager, Sal Lombardo, to continue growing the business in the four main service areas; windows, doors, siding, and roofing. Together, Dokic and Lombardo have over 40 years of combined experience.
Meet Owner, Musa Dokic
Musa Dokic attended Chesterfield Technical School while simultaneously finishing up high school. He went on to work for various contractors until 2007 when he went out on his own to start USA Handyman and Contractor. He built the business as a trusted installer for Lowe's Home Improvement and has continued to grow on his own, serving residential and commercial customers in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding areas. Together with his Operations Manager, Sal, Musa looks forward to continuing to grow the business and offering quality work to his customers.
Meet Operations Manager, Sal Lombard
Sal Lombardo spent 15 years as an Operations Engineer for a construction company in New York before starting his own business, KBC Construction. While operating KBC, Sal was a licensed and insured general contractor in New York and New Jersey. In 2005, he moved to Virginia and continued to work in construction for a short time, installing additions, decks, doors and windows. Sal and Musa met through their affiliation with Lowe’s Home Improvement as they were both sub-contractors for the installation department. Together they worked on big jobs and built a working relationship. After Sal stopped ‘swinging the hammer’, he became a Site Manager. Never losing touch with Musa, Sal joined the USA Handyman team in May of 2020 as the Operations Manager.
